No Data Collection

SoundTrace does not collect or transmit any personal information, location data, or usage metrics. We do not use analytics, advertising identifiers, or tracking tools.

Local Data Storage

All session logs, sound readings, and optional recordings are stored locally on your device. You can delete them anytime from within the app. SoundTrace never uploads or shares this data externally.

App Permissions

The app requests microphone access solely to measure sound levels. Audio data is processed in real time and is not stored or transmitted unless you choose to record a session. Recorded audio remains local to your device.

No Network Communication

SoundTrace does not require an internet connection for core functionality and does not send data to any servers or third parties.
